Wheel Lock Nuts | What Do You Have/Recommend?

    Hi all,

Whilst I'm a look out for wheels (have set my eyes on a VMR V710 look alike), I have been tickled into thinking... What wheel nuts are out there to protect my (future) wheels??

What do u guys have and where did u get it?
    What's good and why?
What are the lightest or strongest ones vs price?
    What are the sexiest??? Lol
Which ones should we avoid altogether??

    All opinions welcomed!!

    Thanks!!

Btw... I just realized I have silly question.... What's the difference between wheel locks vs lock/lug nuts and bolts? Aren't they the same thing?

    😊

I see a bolt or lug as a 'male'... errr... shaped fitting & a nut as a 'female' fitting.
I also see 'lug' as an americanism. Could be just me though!...

Hi mate, I never really paid much attention to wheel nuts / lock nuts until I bought my B4 Liberty. The previous owner bought $150+ wheel nuts that are very similar to Rays, these ones are rainbow type which set the car right off as they look blue (cars blue). Worth while IMO to get good quality ones as it really gets the car looking nice.

Oh I know how u feel abt losing the lock nut key. I lost my mate's one when I had to sell his car for him when he left the country permanently for work. Had to change his tyres to get the RWC done and boy... I was panicking as hell. Had to let a mechanic break it by forcing a tool into the nut and force unscrew it.

Good thing is wasn't an expensive set as he got it second w the car when he bought it years ago.
